Russian rapper Oxxxymiron (real name Miron Fyodorov), known for his opposition to the Kremlin and the war in Ukraine, has been accused of grooming and sexually assaulting underage girls.
Three women have come forward with allegations, including claims of rape and long-term emotional manipulation. Fyodorov has not yet responded.
The accusations surfaced in a podcast episode of Daughter of a Bandit, hosted by investigative journalist Nastya Krasilnikova, who reports on sexual violence. Three women, Vera Markovich, Vika Kuchak and Viktoria Mikhailov, described patterns of alleged grooming, coercion and abuse by the rapper.
Kuchak, now 29, said she first connected with Fyodorov at 13 through the Russian social media platform VKontakte. Their conversations, which began as friendly exchanges, allegedly became sexual over time. She claimed Fyodorov introduced explicit topics, discussed his fantasies and made inappropriate comments about her appearance. According to Kuchak, he initially positioned himself as a mentor before becoming controlling.
“I believed he was my friend,” she said. “I had no close friends in real life, and he became this light in the darkness that I could always message.”
By the time she was 16, Kuchak travelled to Ufa to attend one of Oxxxymiron’s concerts. She alleged that after an initially distant encounter, he later invited her to an apartment rented by his team, where he raped her.
“It wasn’t sex between two consenting adults,” she said. “It was mechanical, with no words, no emotions. Then he just turned away and fell asleep as if nothing had happened.”
She added that before intercourse, Fyodorov specifically asked if she was 16 – the age of consent in Russia. Kuchak alleged that this was a deliberate attempt to avoid legal consequences despite years of prior grooming, which she equates to rape.
Mikhailova, another accuser, claimed Fyodorov asked for nude photos when she was 15. She provided screenshots purportedly showing him praising her for sending intimate images and expressing a desire for sexual contact. She also alleged that he asked whether she had ever had sex in a dressing room and, when she said no, replied: “There’s always a first time.”
Markovich, the third accuser and a former girlfriend of Fyodorov, previously accused him in 2021 of emotional abuse and infidelity. In the podcast, she reiterated her claims, stating that they first had sex when she was 15. Her earlier allegations, posted on Instagram, were removed due to platform guidelines.
Oxxxymiron is one of Russia’s most influential hip-hop artists, known for his lyricism and political commentary. Born in Leningrad in 1985, he emigrated to Germany as a child before moving to the UK, where he later studied English literature at the University of Oxford.
Beyond music, he has been an outspoken critic of the Russian government. In 2022, he condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and organised anti-war concerts across Europe under the banner Russians Against War, with proceeds going to Ukrainian refugees. His activism led to scrutiny from Russian authorities, and in October 2022, Russia’s Justice Ministry designated him a “foreign agent.” Since May 2024, he has been wanted by Russian authorities for allegedly violating the country’s “foreign agent” laws.
