Israel conducted an airstrike targeting a building in the Hadath area of Beirut's southern suburb and launched multiple strikes across southern Lebanon on March 28.
The strike on Beirut's southern suburb destroyed the targeted building and followed three earlier "limited strikes" in the area, according to the Al Mayadeen report.
The Hadath district experienced chaos and confusion as evacuations took place amid heavy traffic and mass displacement after Israeli threats to bomb a building in the area.
Simultaneously, Israeli warplanes struck several areas in southern Lebanon, including the heights of Iqlim al-Tuffah and the outskirts of Kfar Tibnit in the Nabatieh district.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the airstrike on Kfar Tibnit resulted in three deaths, including a woman, and injured 18 people, among them children and women.
Israeli artillery also targeted the eastern neighborhood of Khiam with conventional and phosphorus shells, and struck the border town of Kfar Kila, while a shell landed in Taybeh.
Lebanese Health Minister Rakan Nassereddine called on the five-member committee to fulfil its role as guarantor of the ceasefire agreement before the situation deteriorates further.
Earlier in the day, the Israeli military claimed two rockets were fired from Lebanese territory, saying one was intercepted while the other fell inside Lebanon.
A Hezbollah official source denied any connection to the rockets fired from southern Lebanon toward northern Israel, stating that "these incidents come in the context of fabricating suspicious pretexts for the continuation of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon." The source affirmed Hezbollah's full commitment to the ceasefire agreement.
Israel has continued violations of the Lebanon ceasefire agreement since its implementation. In recent days, Israel has escalated attacks on Lebanese villages in the south and Bekaa Valley, launching a series of raids resulting in casualties.
